Organic Social Content

A month of curated content showcasing the lifestyle, service, and exclusivity behind both brands.

Hayes Media was brought in to handle real-time social media coverage for PFL Africa during fight night, with a strong focus on speed, energy, and platform-native storytelling. Working under a strict live publishing structure, the team delivered high-intensity content throughout the event while simultaneously capturing cinematic footage for larger-scale productions, documentaries, and broadcast content.

The strategy focused on making audiences online feel as though they were inside the arena in real time. A dedicated three-person production team, consisting of two shooters and one live editor, worked continuously throughout the event to capture and publish fast-paced content every 10 minutes. The content covered everything from crowd reactions and attendee interviews to fighter walkouts, behind-the-scenes moments, and the fights themselves.

Every edit was designed with a high-energy social-first approach to maximise engagement and maintain momentum throughout the night. Alongside the live social coverage, all footage was also captured in landscape format to support the production of a full event highlight film, documentary footage for Vice, and selected scenes for PFL’s upcoming television series.

The campaign also included interviews with major public figures such as Dricus du Plessis, Cassper Nyovest, and Siya Kolisi, helping elevate the event’s digital presence and cultural relevance across multiple audiences.
